WaMu Sucks!

Boy, did I come across your website at a time....

I've been a Washed up Mutual customer for sevearl years. I have my loan through them since 2004. I've always paid my bills on time and never late. My loan is going to an adjustable this December. I've been working (or at least I thought I was) with WAMU and CHASE on a loan modification for over 2 months now. It's been a fucking circus!! I sent off all of my information, after I filled out the application on CHASE'S website and when faxed off, they could not verify if they received it or not. The answer I got was, "well, if your fax went through it 'probably' got to us". So I waited a few weeks. When I called back, they said they closed the file because they were missing some items and that they sent me a letter telling me so. BULLSHIT!! I never received a letter, I've been waiting. So I finally got through to a fax number and Dept. of where to submit my missing items. I continued to call back each week at this point to check on things. No one could verify for 3 weeks (now we're into April) that they recieve it. Finally on April 30, they said they have everything. Each week I continued to call, and each week someone would tell me that it's waiting to go to the negotiator. Last week I called and someone told me that it finally went to the negotiator. I even got a name, phone number and email address. The phone number never gets answered, except by the voicemail which says the person is not taking any messages, so I wrote an email, which I have yet to get a response....I'm holding my breath!! NOT!

I called again today, now someone tells me that my file is closed because I submitted my paperwork prior to 4/4 and that was with WAMU and now they're CHASE. I told the Dumbfuck that I went to CHASE.com and got the applicaition from there, we argued a bit and he finally sent me off to someone else. This person now told me that my file was closed because they were missing items since April and that a letter was sent out to me on 5/8...... More lies. I explained to her that I've been calling every week to check on the progress and that I was told it went to a negotiator who does not return emails and cannot be reached by phone. She told me that there is nothing on file about me calling since April. WTF??? I argued with her a bit and all she could give me was a phone number for HUD!! She told me to call them and have them file the paperwork for me.

OMG, I'm so pissed right now.........can you tell?? It's like everytime I call the 800 number, I'm speaking to someone new who has their line of what to say. No one is helpful there and at this point, I'm back where I started. I will call HUD and see where that doesn't get me!!
