$875 fee for even applying for a re-fi
Cheryl was a loyal happy WaMu customer for 23 years with perfect credit and over 50% equity in her house. She started a refi process in Jan 09 and was charged $875 for the privilege of applying for a refi. Since then, Chase has continuously dropped the ball and still hasn’t completed the refi. (story)
